James
Blakeway was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. He
founded Blakeway Worldwide Panoramas in 1989 while
living in California, later moving the company to
Minnesota. A consummate road warrior, James travels in
pursuit of photographs as many as 200 days out of the
year. When he’s not traveling or working at the Blakeway
offices, Jim lends his time to a group he founded with
the aim of cleaning polluted waters in Minnesota lakes.
